The Governor's Joplin Challenge brings together the Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, the St. Louis Blues, the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Rams, the Kansas Speedway in partnership with NASCAR Unites, the University of Missouri and volunteers to build homes for victims of this horrific event. Volunteers will work alongside athletes to build 35 homes in Joplin. The Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity is also accepting donations to help continue the work that has already begun.
